As far back as I can remember, I have had an interest in people and in being of service to others. Whether through my work as a personal care assistant and home health aide for both elders and people with developmental disabilities throughout my 20s, or the two decades I spent as a professional singer-songwriter and entertainer, the focus was always on the human experience, personal connection, compassion, and curiosity. I genuinely enjoy learning about other people's perspectives, supporting them through hardships, and creating safe avenues of communication. I really believe that some of the greatest privileges in this life are being able to clearly reflect to someone the unique and beautiful attributes that give them power and value, and to co-create opportunities for others to see themselves in a new and authentic light.
My interests in people eventually led me to the fields of psychology and coaching in 2022, after the pandemic upended my career as a musician. As a brand-new father at age 40, I decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology with the idea of eventually becoming a therapist or counselor. Along the way, I became aware of wellness coaching through the university I was attending. I decided to include a certification from the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches in my studies, completing a comprehensive program that required foundations in nutrition and human health, as well as in motivational interviewing, and hours of practical evaluation. I earned my board certification in the spring of 2024 and have been practicing as a wellness and life coach ever since.
Additionally, I completed my degree in psychology from Eastern University in the spring of 2026. The more I have come to learn about coaching and the unique way a coach is oriented, the more I have fallen in love with the work. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in business and organizational psychology to expand my abilities as a coach and consultant. Music is still a passion, and I am considering a coaching program that integrates music and guitar; until then, I continue to write and record, and I perform when the opportunity presents itself. I currently live in Point Pleasant, PA, blessed with an amazing wife, two wonderful children, and the best doggo a guy could ever ask for.
